A FEW GUIDELINES FOR THE BOOKCLUB
What kind of book club?
Bruce’s Book club is a moderately social seriously intellectually geared club.
What kind of books
We select books of all genres. All books selected have an element of self-help or further understanding of life. We tend to gravitate towards insightful reads rather than difficult reads.
Meeting—how often and when?
We will be meeting every Monday at 8pm – 9:00pm (to start off)
We meet via Zoom.
Invitations will be sent out each Monday evening
How do we keep in touch?
We keep in touch via the facebook page Bruce’s Book Club
Meeting Format
· 0-5 min. — social time
- 5-15 min. — administrative matters
- 15-50 min. — book discussion
- 50-59 min – Closing
Each member will have a turn discussing the book in relation to the current question, topic, etc

Basic Ground Rules
Members who haven’t read the book
Come anyway. Not everyone can finish every book, but non-readers may still have valuable insights.
Disagreements about the book
Be gracious! There is never any one way to experience or interpret a book. In fact, differing opinions make the best discussions. Just don't get over heated.
